For all those that have been following our exclusive design with John Smedley, tomorrow is the last day for orders before we go into production.

I know last time we had several people ask to buy the sweaters after the period had ended, so please be aware that this is a limited-time offer. On Monday the Smedley factory in Matlock, England will add up all the smalls, mediums and so on, and programme the Stoll knitting machines to begin production. Orders will then be sent out in mid-March.

This offer for the silver Dartmoor will not be repeated.

Simon,
Still no luck when I try to order using the Smedley (United States) site?!? I have tried using multiple cards and it is still no luck.
Any other way to order? Is The Hanger Project going to carry them again?

Will do, thanks Simon!

Simon,
I tried to contact Smedley customer service but have not heard anything from them. LMK, if you have any luck. BTW, I need a size medium in the dartmoor.
Thanks, Jeff

Simon,
Thanks for all the help with Smedley Dartmoor. I was able to place an order with their customer service people.

John Smedley makes fantastic knitwear and I’m glad that you are involved with them. Actually I had on yesterday the classic vneck style Bobby in navy. So, kudos to you for recognizing what a world class company Smedley really is.

On another matter: do you have any knowledge of Drake ties? If so, what’s your opinion of the quality, design etc?

Scott Fisher

Simon,
Please forgive my lazy question concerning Drake ties. I should have checked the website first of course. Perhaps the more appropriate question is has Drakes kept up the quality and design since the founder sold the company?

Scott Fisher

Thank you sir! I think I’m going to order a few of their solid knit ties. It’s so refreshing to find a company that doesn’t produce it’s product in China! I like the fact that Drakes has it’s design team and production facilities in London.

Hi just so everyone’s aware, JS were still taking orders on Sunday… not sure beyond then.
